Extelier “Nature as archive”

What

To create an ephemeral space for dialogue between art, thinking and nature. The Extelier was born as an extension of Archaeology of Beauty: a workshop that opens to the world to rethink beauty beyond the ornament.

The goal is to activate lively conversations among different disciplines and sensibilities, where flower becomes a subject of reflection and artistic language.

Process

The event unfolds in a painting studio, fostering a conversation between a painter, a writer and AofB.

The floral installation is integrated into space as a curatorial device, accompanying the conversation and transforming the environment into a symbolic landscape.

The process combines thinking, composition and experience: a collaborative exploration of nature as both archive and aesthetic memory.

Result

An interdisciplinary gathering where nature reclaims its role as a source of reflection and artistic expression. This space breathes with beauty, words and presence, creating an atmosphere of attentiveness and shared meaning.

In times of urgency and artifice, working with flowers is a political act: it is choosing slow pace, attentiveness, and an ethics of life. It is remembering that beauty lies not in what is imposed, but in what is nurtured. Each floral arrangement is a small archaeological dig: it unearths the meaning of nature and what has been preserved.
